I've used Lenrentals.com for renting gear for a little while now. Great service and the equipment is always in excellent condition. 2 weeks ago my Nikon D3 went down with a shutter problem so I was a little paranoid about not having backup-backup gear just in case so I rented a D700 from them for 2 weeks. Their packing is always top notch when they ship equipment and when I've rented camera bodies before they always come with a camera case. I thought this case was a bit much to show at a wedding so it stayed home, great for swamp gigging though!

You never know what UPS will bring!
So it has been one crazy busy month with weddings, this weekend was great with 3 weddings and the weather almost held out for all 3! Just about every day now I receive UPS packages that are mostly proof books and albums right now with all the wedding work. However today I received a package from Baton Rouge, and I wondered just what it could be.......
Thank you Kay & Corey!!
What a great gift, I'm a sucker for anything Steelers!

Kay and Corey Wedding - 11.02.08
I had posted Kay & Corey's French Quarter Portrait Session last year - http://www.zoeicaimages.com/Kay&Corey
Kay and Corey both began getting ready at the Astor Crown Plaza before heading to the ceremony at the Law St Baptist Church in the Desire neighborhood. The reception was held at the Riverview Room in Jax Brewery.
Thanks to Kay and Corey for allowing me to capture all the moments!

Carlos Pasos www.carlospasos.com assisted me with the photography on the wedding day.
Ashley & Ben 11.01.08
Ashley and Ben were married at the Immaculate Conception Church on Baronne, the reception followed at Latrobe's in the French Quarter. Fabulous couple, amazing families all around. And I'm not just saying that because of all the Terrible Towels!

Shawn Reeder's Video
The multi talented photographer/musician/climber who defies gravity/ Shawn Reeder has posted a new video on his website, which is pretty cool to view, almost Imax style. Not bad for a Canon I guess :)
Check out his first hike of the year images as well - http://shawnreeder.net/index.php
We don't get to view "hills" like that down here in the swamp!
