Joan and Brian were married on March 8th 2008 at Mater Dolorosa church, and reception at the Plimsoll Club. Always liked shooting inside Dolorosa as the lighting is pretty good for a church in New Orleans. Plenty of light on the altar, which is rare. The Plimsoll club offers great views of the city of New Orleans plus great atmosphere inside. The Bucktown All Stars rocked the house and even had a special guest performer sitting in for a Rolling Stones tune, the Maid of Honor played drums with them! Thanks to Joan and Brian for giving me pretty much free reign of what to photograph throughout their wedding day.
